Audio Samples
All samples are relatively low quality, 128 kbps MP3 files. Click on the play button next to the song titles to start the song. They will play using an embedded Flash MP3 player. The final CD tracks are of much higher quality. Please Contact Me to arrange a meeting to discuss your project and hear some of my work in a much higher quality listening environment.
Aneel
Aneel is a Seattle based RnB singer/songwriter. Since he doesn't play any instruments, he relies on producers such as myself to compose and arrange the music for him.
America - 2000-2004 - This is a song I co-wrote with Aneel several years back for a project that was put on hold until just recently. I helped Aneel with the arrangement and fine tuning of lyrics, then I composed and performed (or programmed) all of the music with the exception of the acoustic and electric guitars which were performed by a session musician I hired, Greg Fulton. Everything was recorded and mixed at my studio MusicTECH.
Heroes - 2004 - Aneel had originally written this song over the top of some music that another producer did, but he was unable to use that music on his CD project. I completely re-wrote and performed all of the music to go along with his pre-recorded vocals. He already had an urban version for this song from another producer, so I went for the cross-over A/C version with a big heroic sounding orchestral finish (all synths and samples which I programmed). Some vocals recorded at MusicTECH and some down in LA. Recording of all instruments and mixing done at MusicTECH.
Club Itch - 2004 - Here's an example of a song where the music was composed and recorded by another producer at his studio. The tracks were then sent to me, and we added some more vocals at MusicTECH, and then I mixed the song at MusicTECH.
Greg Adams' Jazz Orchestra
This was a big project that we started in 2002 and wrapped up in 2003. We recorded 7 of Greg Adams' big band jazz arrangements at Triad Studios with a band consisting of a 14 piece brass section and a 4 piece rhythm section. We tracked to 32 tracks of ADAT, then brought the tapes back to MusicTECH where we digitally transferred all the tracks into my DAW system and then did all the solos and additional overdubs at my studio. I also did all the mixes for the project at my MusicTECH studio. Below are a couple of my favorite songs from the project.

Stephen "Da Brayne" Sherrard
Here is a collection of songs that I've done for my own personal projects.
Sax On Da Brayne - 2000 - Smooth and sensual piece that I did several years ago that did very well on the jazz charts on MP3.com. Later released as sensual music to dance to on my Strip To It CD. All music composed, recorded, and performed at MusicTECH. On take sax solo by a local jazz musicians.
Afterglow - 2000 - Another piece I composed several years ago that did very well on the New Age charts on MP3.com and then later released on my Strip To It CD. Everything done at MusicTECH. Features vocal samples from the Deepest India CD.
Listen to more of my own song clips on the Strip To It Samples page.
Mob With Me (DaBrayne Remix) - 1998 - My remix of the Seattle hit song from Baby C and Paradine Records. The original song was recorded and mixed at MusicTECH, and this is the extended remix version I did for them featuring some Take 6 vocal samples.
Ain't Nothin' New - 2002 - This was a fairly simple hip-hop track that I produced on my own, and then the guys from Paradine Records came in and did some rapping over the top of it. Everything done at MusicTECH.
Money Makes The Coochie Go Woo! - 2002 - This song (lyrics and melody) was written by Divina Mangabat, one of the vocalist on my Strip To It CD. I composed and arranged the music for the song, using Greg Fulton again on guitars, and we did all the recording and mixing here at MusicTECH.
Jill Cohn
I've known and worked with Jill for many years. In 2000 we did an ambitious project together for her "The Absence Of Moving". This is an example of a project where we did a lot of the recording at Triad Studios when we needed a great sounding big room to record her band, and then did pretty much everything else at my MusicTECH studio... vocals and lots of solo instruments and overdubs, plus all of the mixing for the whole CD. I engineered the entire project from start to finish, with the exception of the mastering. Audio clips from all the songs on this CD can be found on the CDBaby.com page for it at:

Eugene Y Kim
Eugene is a talented singer/songwriter and musician who bought some home studio equipment and recorded all the tracks himself. He then brought his project to MusicTECH for mixing. Great songs very cleanly recorded making it easy for me to make the mixes sound good.
